What we need to build your 3D model
One of these is enough to start: photographs of every side with the measurements, or the drawing files (CAD), or the product itself. Photographs alone are enough. Everything beyond that is a bonus that raises quality and cuts revisions.
How long does a 3D product model take?
We count in working hours, not days: roughly 5 to 50 working hours per model, depending on the product and the level. A series goes faster per piece, because several of our 3D artists work to one standard.
How much does a 3D configurator cost
A configurator has three main costs: the 3D models, the configurator itself, and what you pay every month. Each can be broken down further, but we keep it simple here. All prices are from September 2026 and are subject to change.
Will 3D slow down my product page?
Not if it is done right. The model file is made small, and it downloads after the text and photos the buyer sees first.

3D, CGI or photography: which do you need
Photography is the base and every brand keeps it. CGI renders and real-time 3D are two things you add on top, each for a different job, each with its own price.
What happens to your 3D models if you change vendor
You keep what you were handed as files. You lose what lived only on the vendor's servers. One sentence in the contract decides which side your models are on.
