Every product in the configurator is one 3D model, and you pay for it once. The model is yours, and the same model works in the configurator, on the product page and in AR.
What the price of a model covers, and where it starts:
- Included: the shape, the details and preparation for the web. For bottles and drinkware, the set of colours too.
- Materials: 45 EUR per new leather, fabric or print. 23 EUR per new colour of a material you already have.
- Jewellery: from 225 EUR per model.
- Furniture and bottles: from 360 EUR per model.
- Footwear: from 450 EUR. Bags and luggage: from 540 EUR.
Ask for the price per model and what it includes. A total without that is a guess.
Similar models cost less

The first model takes the most work. Models made from it cost less. This is where a range of similar products pays off.
- The same product in another size or with another lid: from 25% of the first model's price.
- A product that shares part of its shape with one we built: 50% of the first model's price.
- Materials are paid once. Every next model uses them at no cost.
- A large order gets more work for the same price. The price per model stays the same.
The more alike your range is, the less each next model costs.
Cost two: the configurator, one price
This is the design and the development of the configurator itself: the steps the buyer clicks through, the look, and the connection to your shop and your order. We quote it as one price, in writing, after a call.
A recent configurator we quoted, design and development together, was 9,450 EUR net. Your number depends on the four things below.
- 01How many products go into the configurator.
- 02How many steps the buyer goes through, and whether they pick parts or only colours.
- 03Which shop you run and how the order has to reach you.
- 04Design from scratch or on your existing page.
Ask for one price, in writing, before the work starts.
Extra features, added when you need them
A configurator works without any of these. Each one is a separate line in the quote, so you can start without it and add it later.
- Animations: the product opens, extends or lights up when the buyer picks that option.
- Annotations: points on the model that explain a detail.
- Dimensions: the real measures drawn on the model itself.
- Size comparison: two or three sizes of the product side by side.
- Showroom: the product standing in a furnished room.
- Scroll experience: a page where the product turns and opens as the visitor scrolls.
Add a feature when it answers a question your buyers ask.
Cost three: what you pay every month
To us: nothing. The models and the configurator are paid once, and we take no share of your sales.
Important to note: the platform is your choice. A 3D platform run by another company charges its own licence, and it stands in our offer as a separate line. When you work directly with us, we build on open-source technology, with no licence fee.
Maintenance is optional and quoted per year. Ask every vendor for the monthly line.
Subscription or paying once: who needs which
1.5–1.9%
of every custom product sold through the configurator, on top of the monthly plan, at one subscription vendor. The share drops as the plan goes up.
Zakeke, pricing page, read 28 September 2026A subscription gives you the platform, the hosting and the tools in one monthly price. It suits a small catalogue, a first test, or a team that wants to build alone.
Paying once gives you files that are yours, and no bill that grows with your sales. It costs more at the start, and it suits a brand that wants its own look and keeps the models for years.
- Roomle: 170 EUR a month for a 3D viewer, 1,380 EUR a month for a full product configurator, billed monthly. Billed yearly it is 140 and 1,150 EUR a month, so 1,680 to 13,800 EUR a year, for as long as it is live.
- Zakeke: from 69.90 USD a month, plus 1.5 to 1.9% of every custom product sold through the tool. 3D and AR in every plan.
- Kickflip: 59 USD a month, plus 1.95% down to 0% of every custom product sold. Removing the Kickflip link is 49 USD a month more.
- Threekit, Expivi, Cylindo, VividWorks, Emersya: no public price; you get a number after a sales call.
Multiply the monthly fee by the years you plan to sell. Then compare it with paying once.
