The problem
A cordless lamp is bought for a table it has never stood on. Photographs on a product page do not answer the two questions that decide the purchase: how big it really is, and what it looks like once it is switched on.
What we built
A viewer for the Salt lamp. The visitor turns it, switches through eight colourways, turns the light on, reads the real dimensions on the model itself, and opens annotations that point at the details of the product. From the same screen the lamp can be placed in the visitor's own room at true size.
How
Delivered as a standalone embeddable link, so the store team places it in the Shopify product page themselves instead of waiting on our code in their theme. The touch dimmer is called out as an annotation on the model, and the dimensions read 19 by 13 by 13 centimetres off the same model that goes into AR, so what is measured on screen is what stands on the table.
Teatika built the 3D and AR viewer for the GRAU salt lamp, including every color option as well as the function to turn the light on and off. Multiple feedback rounds were conducted with the founders to continuously optimize and adjust the product until it fully met their expectations. Throughout the entire process, they maintained clear and open communication.
